Job Summary
Direct the operation of the ABSN learning site in Reno, overseeing clinical, lab, and simulation activities, staff development, and compliance to quality, safety, and regulatory requirements; lead program strategy and collaboration with university and healthcare partners; requires doctorate in nursing, RN licensure in NV, 5+ years nursing practice with leadership experience, and 2+ years of baccalaureate-level teaching plus strong online teaching and academic leadership capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate degree from an accredited college or university
- Active, current, and unencumbered RN license in Nevada
- NLN certification as nurse educator (CNE) preferred
- Minimum of 5 years nursing practice with demonstrated accountability for outcomes
- Minimum of 3 years progressive leadership experience including supervision of personnel
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience (clinical teaching) at the baccalaureate level or higher in nursing
- Online teaching experience strongly preferred
- Academic leadership experience strongly preferred
- Must pass pre-employment background investigation
- Ability to plan, develop, and implement strategy for operational management of clinical, lab, and simulation activities
- Experience coordinating equipment, supplies, and compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate with Executive Director, Nursing Services for service delivery to students
- Ability to integrate faith and promote diversity
