Job Summary
Director, Nursing Acute Care responsible for strategic and operational leadership of inpatient nursing services across acute care units, ensuring evidence-based practice, regulatory alignment (North Dakota Board of Nursing, The Joint Commission, CMS), and high-quality patient outcomes. Leads clinical operations, care coordination, and performance improvement initiatives, fostering collaboration with nursing staff, physicians, and hospital leaders. Focus areas include overseeing daily unit operations, driving quality and professional development, and maintaining a culture of continuous improvement and accountability in a high-demand hospital environment.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed and currently registered as a professional nurse in the State of North Dakota or licensure from an approved compact state
- BLS certified
- Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor's degree
- A Master’s Degree is desirable
- Three to five years of nursing experience with two years in a supervisory position
- Certification in Nursing Administration is desired
