Job Summary
Lead and oversee accredited nuclear training programs (Operations Initial and Re-qualification, Maintenance, Radiation Protection, Chemistry, Engineering, and related staff) at Vistra's Perry, Ohio site. Responsible for managing training programs, maintaining accreditation, coordinating with line organizations and fleet counterparts, overseeing instructional technology and student programs, and participating in INPO/Nuclear Training evaluations. Serve as a site leader within duty, emergency response, and outage teams; drive training effectiveness, program reviews, and industry trend analysis; ensure compliance with site, fleet, and regulatory requirements. Requires senior-level nuclear leadership experience, 2-4 years in program oversight, and 2 years of nuclear power plant experience; familiar with NRC pass rates, training metrics, and accreditation maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 - 4 years of experience providing oversight for accredited nuclear training programs
- At least 2 - 4 years of mid-level manager (or higher) nuclear leadership experience
- Four years professional related experience
- Two years nuclear power plant experience
- Participation in operations or training section activities during the two years
