Job Summary
Generate new or incremental revenue by articulating the Playfly Sports Properties value proposition to client directors and agency senior contacts. Cultivate and manage relationships with brands, developing consultative strategies to secure multi-year sponsorships and drive multi-property revenue across the U.S. and Canadian high school MMR portfolio. Collaborate with stakeholders across all business units to execute sales plans while utilizing reporting tools to ensure transparency to the Vice President. This role requires a passion for high school athletics and a proven track record in sports sponsorship sales.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for high school athletics and community-centric partnerships
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in business development in a Sponsorship Sales capacity
- Proven track record of revenue generation as both a sole contributor and a member of broader sales team
- Experience in High School MMR, Team Sponsorship and Sports Arena Sales
- Comprehensive knowledge of the sports industry and sports sponsorship sales
- Strategic thinker with ability to develop relationships with high-level clientele
- Proven track record of innovative strategy development and ad revenue generation and/or support
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Computer proficient (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Bachelor's degree required (preference in Sports Media, Communications, Marketing or related fields)
- Position is considered remote, but ideal candidate will reside within 60 miles of a major metro market/airport
- May require occasional travel
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, Revenue Generation systems, is a plus
