Job Summary
The Director, MIS – Software Applications will lead the strategy, development, and governance of the core enterprise application ecosystem at Ambarella. This role includes managing and optimizing ERP, HRIS, Finance, and Supply Chain systems, while ensuring data integrity and compliance with SOX and data privacy regulations. Responsibilities include implementing application governance, overseeing the entire application lifecycle, and driving user experience improvements. Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree, extensive experience in enterprise application management, and a track record of leading complex initiatives and global teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 15+ years of progressive experience in enterprise application management
- 5+ years in a senior leadership role
- Deep experience with large-scale enterprise platforms (ERP, HRIS, Finance, Supply Chain, CRM)
- Demonstrated success in managing and implementing platforms such as Workday, Oracle 12, Azure, Adaptive
- Strong understanding of IT governance, SOX controls, data security, and compliance requirements
- Proven ability to lead global teams and manage complex, cross-functional initiatives
- Demonstrated success partnering with senior business leaders
