Job Summary
Director, Mine Technical Services leads all technical mine-planning, geotechnical, geo-metallurgical, production geology, and mine engineering functions for the Saskatoon-based project; responsible for safety, regulatory compliance, NI 43-101 studies, and the Operational Readiness Plan; provides accountability, leadership, and technical direction to the Mine Technical Services team to support construction, commissioning, ramp-up, and operations; develops engineering design standards and processes and guides implementation of new systems/processes to ensure underground mine operations meet company requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mine or Geological engineering
- P.Eng in Saskatchewan
- Qualified Person (QP) for NI 43-101 compliant technical studies
- Minimum of 20 years of Mine Engineering experience in operations and/or projects, with preferred underground and hard rock mine exposure
- Experience with large capital projects
- Proficiency with engineering management systems, scheduling tools, and project controls (e.g., Deswick)
