Director, Merchandising (Women's)

Job Summary
Develop and implement Jockey's end-to-end merchandising strategy for Women's apparel to maximize sales, profitability, and inventory efficiency across all channels. Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and consumer insights to inform strategic product selection, pricing, and seasonal financial targets for sales, margin, and inventory turnover. Lead pre-season, in-season, and post-season analysis while collaborating with Design, Planning, Marketing, and Supply Chain to develop purchase plans, budgets, and promotional strategies. Manage key GTM calendars, trace product line productivity to the SKU level, and maintain strong vendor partnerships through contract and pricing reviews. Present business updates to leadership and mentor a high-performing team to ensure seamless execution of product strategy aligned with global brand standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Merchandising, Marketing, or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Merchandising, Buying, or Category Management
- at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role at a corporate level
- Exceptional analytical and financial acumen
- Deep understanding of marketing and consumer
- Proven ability to develop and execute complex, high-impact merchandising strategies
- Outstanding negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing a team
- Proficiency with merchandising planning software
- advanced Microsoft Excel skills
