Director, Member Success, Academic

Job Summary
Manage a portfolio of member schools by building trusted partnerships with academic leaders and guiding them through the implementation of assessment and student well-being tools. Serve as a strategic partner to heads of school and instructional teams, interpreting data insights to support teaching and learning while coordinating with internal product and research groups to resolve support requests. Facilitate ongoing engagement through regular conversations, professional learning opportunities, and conference representation to drive adoption and retention. Monitor portfolio metrics, gather member feedback, and document interactions in Salesforce to identify emerging trends that inform future product strategy and service improvements. Report to the Senior Director, Member Success, Academic, with approximately 25–30% travel required for in-person meetings and internal gatherings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 9-12+ years of experience in education, academic leadership, assessment, member success, customer success, or relationship management
- Experience working with schools, educators, or education-focused organizations
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working within independent or private schools
- Experience supporting educators through assessment programs, educational data systems, or instructional improvement initiatives
- Background in teaching, curriculum development and planning, academic leadership, or educational assessment
- Experience presenting to professional audiences or facilitating workshops for educators and school leaders
- Experience in independent school admissions or enrollment management is a plus, particularly for candidates who also bring strong academic, teaching, or instructional leadership experience
