Job Summary
Lead clinical excellence across 1N, 2E, 2S, 3E, and EMU units by driving service line growth, launching new programs, and optimizing daily operations. Utilize professional governance and Magnet® principles to build high-performing teams, ensure evidence-based protocols meet regulatory requirements, and manage performance improvement and succession planning. Develop business plans, prepare financial analyses and budgets, and coordinate care across inpatient and ambulatory settings. Maintain accountability for quality outcomes, nurse-sensitive indicators, and staff satisfaction while fostering an environment where professional nursing practice thrives.
Required Qualifications
- BSN or higher degree in nursing
- Master's degree in relevant field
- State of Idaho Registered Nurse or licensure pending as documented by temporary licensure OR current RN licensure from a state participating in the 'multistate privilege to practice' compact with Idaho
- 5 years' experience in hospital and healthcare management
- Specialty certification in nursing leadership within 6 months of hire (CENP, NEA-BC, NE-BC or relevant other certification)
- Broad and intensive understanding of clinical operations and the related functions of administration and the service lines
- Demonstrated business acumen and management skills associated with budgeting, program development, planning and execution
- Understanding of clinical information and computer systems as well as coding, billing and reimbursement relative to service offerings
- Knowledge of negotiations and change management
- Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation requirements
- Excellent and proven leadership skills incorporating accountability, open communication and team building
- Must be able to lift and move up to 10lbs
- Must be able to maintain a sitting position
