Job Summary
Lead a 6-person MSL team while serving as the primary field MSL for a designated territory in Plastics & Regenerative Medicine. Develop and execute scientific interaction plans for on-market and pipeline products, ensuring high-quality engagement with Key Opinion Leaders and healthcare professionals. Manage team performance through regular coaching, field co-rides, and performance reviews, while overseeing operational logistics including expense approvals, vendor contracting, and OR certification maintenance. Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand, Marketing, and Medical Affairs teams to align field activities with business objectives and drive recruitment and onboarding. Maintain active field presence with approximately 50–60% travel to support direct territory engagement and team development.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree in health sciences or clinical discipline
- Minimum of 5 years clinical, scientific/research, or pharma industry related experience
- At least 2 of those years as an MSL
- Excellent written and spoken communication and presentation skills
- Ability to travel regularly (approximately 50–60%)
Desired Qualifications
- Doctorate level degree (i.e. Pharm D, MD/DO, PhD)
- Prior line management experience of a field-based MSL team
- Experience as a player-coach or working manager
- Local language and English
- Proven success in managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven ability to work collaboratively cross functionally
- Experience managing and resolving challenging personnel issues
- Experience with OR/surgical suite environments
- Familiarity with credentialing and OR certification processes
- Demonstrated ability to manage operational and administrative responsibilities (e.g., expense approvals, vendor contracting, tool and resource management) alongside active field engagement duties
