Job Summary
Develop and execute scientific interaction plans for Plastics & Regenerative Medicine products, analyzing clinical trends to support business objectives. Lead a 6-person MSL team through performance management, coaching, and recruitment while maintaining an active field presence as the primary MSL for a designated territory. Conduct regular co-rides and 1:1s to observe scientific exchanges and coach direct reports on engagement quality and storytelling. Manage operational logistics including expense approvals, vendor contracting, and OR certification maintenance. Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand, Marketing, and Medical Affairs teams to align field activities with strategic plans.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree in health sciences or clinical discipline
- Minimum of 5 years clinical, scientific/research, or pharma industry related experience
- At least 2 of those years as an MSL
- Excellent written and spoken communication and presentation skills
- Ability to travel regularly (approximately 50–60%)
Desired Qualifications
- Doctorate level degree (i.e. Pharm D, MD/DO, PhD)
- Prior line management experience of a field-based MSL team
- Experience as a player-coach or working manager
- Local language and English preferred
- Experience with OR/surgical suite environments and familiarity with credentialing and OR certification processes
- Demonstrated ability to manage operational and administrative responsibilities (e.g., expense approvals, vendor contracting, tool and resource management) alongside active field engagement duties
