Job Summary
Director of Medical Operations role overseeing multiple Florida clinics (Blountstown, Port St. Joe, Youngstown, Marianna, Malone, Bristol) with operational leadership, policy implementation, budgeting, staffing, compliance (HIPAA, quality initiatives), and cross-department collaboration to improve patient access, experience, and outcomes. Responsible for KPIs, risk management, infection prevention, and strategic planning in ambulatory healthcare settings; requires Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Master’s preferred), 5+ years in healthcare ops with 3+ years in leadership, and multi-site management experience. Onsite attendance is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Nursing, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible healthcare operations experience, including at least three (3) years in a leadership role
- Experience managing multi-site healthcare operations, operational performance, staffing, budgets, and process improvement initiatives preferred
- Experience working in a community health center, ambulatory care, multi-specialty practice, or similar healthcare environment preferred
- Regular and predictable onsite attendance
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare operations, including patient access, scheduling, staffing, workflow management, quality initiatives, and operational best practices
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, resource allocation, productivity management, financial analysis, and operational performance improvement
- Knowledge of applicable federal and state healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, HIPAA requirements, and quality improvement principles
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, Microsoft Office applications, and data reporting tools
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across departments to support organizational goals
- Commitment to patient-centered service, operational excellence, and continuous quality improvement
- Experience in leadership roles within healthcare operations
