Job Summary
Director, Medical Business Development responsible for securing new medical device OEM partnerships. Lead strategic prospecting, target account mapping across R&D, engineering, sourcing, and executive leadership; drive face-to-face meetings, RFQ progression, and program awards. Build and manage a high-value pipeline (target $40M/year) and develop cost models/pricing strategies to meet target margins. Field-proven hunter with experience selling into regulated environments and translating concepts into manufacturable injection molding solutions; travel up to 50% to advance opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 10+ years of business development experience in medical injection molding or contract manufacturing
- Demonstrated success in securing new medical OEM customers
- Experience selling into regulated environments (FDA, ISO 13485) with knowledge of DFM, tooling, and validation processes
- Travel up to 50%
