Director, Global Medical Affairs - Heart Failure (m/f/d) leads the global medical strategy for heart failure, guiding clinical and scientific strategy across a rapidly evolving portfolio, coordinating with Clinical Affairs, R&D, Market Access, Marketing, and Commercial teams. Key responsibilities include developing priorities for the Global Abbott HF ISS strategy; leading medical affairs contributions to physician education on advanced HF, MCS, and hemodynamic management; collaborating with professional societies; supporting R&D input on product portfolio; assisting market access with clinical input to reimbursement; representing Abbott HF Medical Affairs with regulatory bodies; providing medical input for investigations and publications; ensuring compliant safety processes and trial support; frequent travel (approx. 60%) across Europe with base in Europe (Spain/Spain remote, Germany, Sweden remote notes). Also involved in off-label discussions, education activities, and publications planning; responsible for updating medical affairs procedural documents and change requests when needed.
