Job Summary
Director, MarTech Content & Workflow Design leads transformation of content management and workflow capabilities across the MarTech ecosystem, hands-on practitioner combining strategic vision with platform expertise (Adobe Experience Manager, Aprimo, Workfront, DAM). Leads and scales a high-performing team of practitioners and configuration specialists; drives adoption, alignment, and measurable impact through cross-functional partnerships; mentors talent and fosters continuous improvement; ensures future-ready content infrastructure aligned with industry trends to elevate member/customer experience. Role requires 8+ years in Digital/Technology Product Management (or 6+ with advanced degree), 3+ years of direct team leadership, and strong knowledge of Agile/Lean methodologies, governance, and data-driven decision-making; preference for experience with MarTech integrations and AI-enabled workflow optimization; remote eligibility in continental U.S. with on-site requirement for USAA office radius, plus occasional travel; Bachelor's degree required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience
- 8 years Digital/Technology Product Management experience (Strategy/Planning, Innovation, User Experience, Process Engineering, Analytics, and/or Research/Testing) OR Advanced degree with 6 years of Digital/Technology Product Management
- 3 years of direct team lead or leading matrixed or cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of Technology/Digital products and/or emerging technology platforms, applications, data analysis and research techniques, and standards
- Demonstrated ability to work in an Agile, Lean Product Development and Lean Portfolio Management environment
- Knowledge of digital and technology strategy and delivery as it relates to Experience Design concepts and Human Centered Design concepts, roadmap development, journey mapping, competitive analysis and research, and situation analysis methods
- Ability to excel in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and a high degree of independence
- Demonstrated people management skills
- Platform Practitioner Experience with MarTech ecosystems (e.g., Adobe, Salesforce, Aprimo)
- Experience integrating workflow/content with campaign tools, CRM, and decisioning platforms for marketing execution
- AI capabilities application to optimize workflows and accelerate innovation
- Governance & Compliance Leadership for content workflows under brand standards/regulatory requirements
- Innovation in Workflow Automation using automation and emerging technologies
- Executive Stakeholder Engagement with senior leadership and enterprise partnerships
- Agile Delivery Expertise managing backlogs for multi-platform implementations
- Change Management & Adoption for workflow/content tools
