Job Summary
As the Director of Marketing Hardware & Hand Tools, you will drive brand and product marketing strategies for various Great Star USA brands. Your responsibilities include translating consumer insights into product concepts, collaborating with product management and engineering on strategy, influencing product positioning, and developing marketing strategies tailored for big box retailers. You will also build a high-performing team, oversee packaging strategies, and manage cross-cultural communication with Asia-based teams. Required qualifications include a minimum of 8 years of relevant marketing experience, proven success in product and brand management, and strong collaboration skills.
Required Qualifications
- At least 8 years of progressive marketing leadership experience in consumer-packaged goods; preferably in tools, hardware, building supply or adjacent categories
- Proven success in both product management and brand building, packaging development, and consumer-led product innovation
- Deep understanding of big box retail dynamics, hardware/building supply channels, Professional Contractor and DIY consumer behavior
- Experience working with international teams, especially Asia-based manufacturing and development partners
