Job Summary
Director Market Implementation in Ethiopia, Growth Segments, drives in-country business development and customer account management to incubate Growth Segment deployments, collaborates with customers/partners/internal teams to deploy incubations, builds customer capacity with product trainings and change management, leads complex technology implementation initiatives and training, manages all Community Pass deployments in-market, and prepares regular incubation deployment reports for Mastercard executives while feeding market insights back to product teams. The role emphasizes in-country leadership for Agriculture and MSMEs in rural Ethiopia, with a focus on adoption, usage, and ecosystem development, and requires extensive experience launching digital products and managing cross-stakeholder initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience in launching digital products in Agriculture and MSMEs in rural communities in Africa/Ethiopia
- Extensive track record in building customer relationships in Ethiopia (Agriculture, MSME, Finance)
- Capacity building programs for adults and illiterate populations in Ethiopia
- Proven project management with diverse stakeholders (Govt, NGOs, private sector, startups)
- Strong reporting and presentation skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
