Job Summary
Director, Employer Engagement at Amgen leads national employer engagement strategy to expand coverage and access for obesity therapies and related products. The role defines employer-facing value propositions, partners with HEOR to leverage outcomes data, drives formulary access initiatives, and leads launch readiness and cross-functional initiatives. Responsibilities include building executive-level relationships with employers, benefits consultants, and coalitions, guiding communications and training resources for employer engagement, aligning cross-functional teams (Brand, HEOR, Medical, Policy, Sales, Legal, Regulatory), and shaping policy discussions to influence benefit design and access trends. The position requires strategic and operational leadership across multiple stakeholders, with a track record of influencing coverage, reimbursement, or benefit design decisions, and experience supporting product launches or major access inflection points. The salary range is USD 232,996 - USD 315,231 annually, with additional benefits and flexible work models including remote/hybrid where possible.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate degree and 4 years of Sales, Marketing and/or Payor experience OR Master’s degree and 8 years of Sales, Marketing and/or Payor experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of Sales, Marketing and/or Payor experience
