Director, Manufacturing Operations and Business Excellence

Job Summary
Design, implement, monitor, and oversee all operations of a mission-critical high-volume manufacturing plant in Tijuana, BC Mexico, ensuring production and shipping schedules meet operational and capital budgets. Lead cross-functional projects including manufacturing transfers and Lean/Six Sigma initiatives to drive continuous improvement and transform the organization's culture. Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports covering product scheduling, availability issues, and support projects while coordinating new product, technology, and process implementations with marketing and sales needs. Establish priorities, manage project spend, and mentor team members to become Lean practitioners, ensuring all activities align with strategic plans and regulatory expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years related manufacturing or technical experience
- 5+ years management experience, with proven leadership experience in a business environment
- Must have a strong attention to detail
- demonstrated ability for sound decision making while working in a fast paced, results oriented environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
