Job Summary
Lead the strategic management of logistics and warehousing operations for chemical products, driving safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement. Align logistics with strategic goals, supervise hazardous materials handling, manage budgets and KPIs, negotiate contracts with service providers, implement automation and data-driven enhancements, and collaborate across Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Engineering to achieve on-time delivery and cost efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in logistics and warehousing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the chemical industry or a similar field
- Demonstrated experience in managing hazardous materials and compliance with industry regulations
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- In-depth knowledge of logistics and warehousing best practices in the chemical sector
- Proficiency in logistics and warehouse management systems
- Relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCMP, or related to hazardous materials handling) preferred
- Knowledge of transportation regulations (USDOT, ODOT), HAZMAT and IATA requirements strongly preferred
- Experience with Microsoft D365 preferred
- Ability to manage complex logistics operations in a regulated environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- Advanced degree or MBA preferred
