Job Summary
Director, Local Reporting & RBC, Hong Kong Corporate Actuarial leads capital management activities including HKRBC solvency sensitivities, capital target setting and annual remittance application; presents results to senior management. Leads capital projects such as HKRBC rule changes proposals and Macao RBC development. Assigns working groups and milestones to ensure timely submissions; provides training to junior staff on solvency results analysis and presentation, coaching and review of deliverables. Identifies and implements solutions to improve tools, processes, and the overall framework.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or related field
- Fellowship in a recognized actuarial organization (SOA, IFoA)
- At least 10 years of actuarial work experience in Insurance or Financial Services
- Excellent proficiency in MS Office (Excel, VBA, Access)
- Knowledge in GGY AXIS, Python and PathWise is an advantage
- Demonstrated understanding of actuarial concepts and financial metrics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to report information and recommendations
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proactive attitude and good team player
- Hybrid working arrangement
