Director, Lending Analytics & Secondary Markets

Job Summary

Lead enterprise lending analytics and secondary market strategy by developing standardized executive dashboards, KPI frameworks, and automated reporting tools to support underwriting optimization, pricing strategy, and balance sheet management. Deliver actionable insights on portfolio performance, delinquency migration, concentration risk, and CECL impacts while serving as the centralized owner of lending data governance and reporting integrity across all lending portfolios. Partner with VP Enterprise Credit Management, Finance, Treasury, and executive leadership to modernize lending intelligence capabilities, evaluate forward-flow strategies, and drive data-driven decision-making for reserve forecasting and asset-liability management.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Statistics, or related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in lending analytics, portfolio management, secondary market activities, credit risk analytics, financial analysis, or business intelligence within a financial institution
  • Strong understanding of consumer, mortgage, business, and commercial lending products and portfolio dynamics
  • Experience with loan sales, participations, secondary market analysis, or balance sheet management strategies
  • Advanced analytical and quantitative skills with ability to interpret complex data and identify actionable insights
  • Experience building executive dashboards, KPI frameworks, and portfolio reporting tools
  • Strong proficiency in data analytics and reporting platforms such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar business intelligence tools
  • Strong communication skills with ability to present complex analytical findings to executive leadership
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship

Desired Qualifications

  • Credit union or regional banking experience preferred
  • Experience supporting CECL, stress testing, reserve forecasting, or portfolio modeling initiatives
  • Familiarity with loan participation structures, whole loan sales, securitization concepts, or digital asset/tokenization initiatives
  • Experience working with AI-enabled analytics or predictive modeling tools
  • Familiarity with lending platforms such as Origence, Temenos, collections systems, and core banking systems
  • Master's degree in Analytics, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field preferred
  • Experience building or modernizing enterprise lending analytics functions preferred
