Job Summary
Lead the Latam FX trading desk, maintaining and hedging risk positions, providing liquidity and trade ideas to clients while trading within set limits to achieve revenue targets. Develop and communicate trading strategies aligned with HSBC's vision, lead and motivate the leadership team, ensure strong internal controls and reporting, and maintain pricing and market information for sales and clients. Strong knowledge of FX markets, liquidity, volatility, and risk management, with ability to guide transaction opportunities and ensure compliance with risk policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Experience in FX trading or related capital markets trading
- Experience in risk management and controls
- Ability to manage trading desk operations and P&L
- Knowledge of Volcker Rule designation and related trading compliance
