Job Summary
Lead a high-performing team of civil engineers and support staff while overseeing the planning, design, and execution of land development projects to ensure adherence to quality, budget, and timeline requirements. Develop and execute regional strategies to drive growth and profitability, manage business development initiatives to secure new projects, and build strong relationships with key clients and industry partners. Ensure successful project delivery from inception to completion by coordinating with internal and external teams for seamless execution. Represent the company at industry events to enhance visibility and reputation. This role supports the Salt Lake City presence and Utah Region strategy within a firm recognized as a Best Place to Work and ENR Design Firm of the year.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in civil engineering, focusing on land development (commercial and/or SFD)
- Proven track record in business development and client relationship management
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute long-term plans
