Director, Laboratory - System Anatomic Pathology

Directs planning, organization, and operation of the hospital laboratory services across the campus and with OhioHealth Laboratory Services; manages laboratory operations and ownership/coordination of cross-functional laboratory-related processes through collaboration with Nursing, other departments, medical staff, and administration. Responsible for development and management of department operating and capital budgets, and personnel issues within the department. Ensures compliance with Joint Commission, CAP, CLIA, FDA standards, and blood handling standards; represents the RMH Laboratory Department on hospital/system committees; participates in additional activities as needed. Emphasizes safety, quality and efficiency as a High Reliability Organization (HRO).
