Job Summary
Director, IT Portfolio & PMO responsible for connecting IT strategy to execution through portfolio and investment management. Own and actively manage the IT portfolio, lead intake, prioritization, and trade-off decisions across initiatives, balance demand/capacity/investment, and provide transparency into portfolio health, risks, and outcomes. Drive program integration, governance, and structured decision-making; establish delivery discipline and repeatable standards; coordinate enterprise programs and dependencies; manage cross-functional teams and the annual PMO budget. Partner with IT leadership and Finance to align investment plans with budgeting cycles; define measures of success and benefits realization; and drive alignment between delivery outcomes and business value. Requires a Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience, strong leadership of PMOs, proficiency with portfolio tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira), and capable stakeholder management. PMP, SAFe or similar certifications preferred. This role is based in Minneapolis, MN, with transition to the new headquarters in Dayton, MN, and is not visa-sponsored.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience leading complex, cross-functional portfolios, programs or enterprise initiatives
- PMP, SAFe or similar certifications preferred
