Job Summary
Direct IT Architecture leadership for a healthcare organization, defining and executing an enterprise IT architecture strategy aligned with clinical, operational, and regulatory goals. Lead a team of Network, Cloud, and Systems Architects; drive IT governance, standards, and best practices to ensure HIPAA/HITRUST compliance; evaluate emerging technologies (microservices, AI, ML) to improve care delivery; ensure high availability, scalability, and cost-effective infrastructure; oversee Network, Cloud, and Systems Architecture including EHR/EMR (Epic) integration; collaborate with IT leadership and business stakeholders to optimize interoperability, security, and ROI. Partner with security, cloud, and vendor teams to standardize tooling (e.g., CloudFormation, AWS CDK, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins) and align with enterprise strategy; monitor KPIs, manage risk, and lead cross-functional efforts to advance healthcare IT initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive experience in IT architecture, including at least 5 years in a leadership role managing network, cloud, and systems architecture teams preferably within a healthcare organization
