Job Summary

Direct long-term financial strategies, including capital investment planning and enterprise financial modeling, while evaluating strategic opportunities and financial risks for senior leaders. Lead investor relations by directing communication on financial results, regulatory developments, and operational performance, cultivating relationships with investors, analysts, and rating agencies. Manage talent across strategic finance and capital planning, overseeing hiring, performance feedback, and development plans to foster an inclusive workplace. Oversee preparation of earnings materials and financial disclosures to ensure accurate strategic messaging. Collaborate with senior leaders across Finance, Operations, and Regulatory functions to align financial strategies with business needs. Requires 10+ years of financial and utility industry experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree - Emphasis in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Financial Management, or related field
  • 10+ years of financial, strategic planning, investor relations, or related experience
  • 6 years progressively more responsible management experience
  • Profit and loss experience
  • Utility or regulatory industry experience
  • Financial management or capital‐intensive industry experience
  • Investor Relations experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, investor expectations, and the regulatory and economic factors influencing utility performance
  • Demonstrated ability to develop long‐term financial strategies and evaluate investments, risks, and value‐creation opportunities
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to craft compelling financial narratives and engage effectively with investors, analysts, and senior leaders
  • Advanced analytical and financial modeling capabilities to interpret complex financial data and inform strategic decision‐making
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships across internal functions and with external financial stakeholders
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to develop talent, foster collaboration, and drive alignment across strategic finance, capital planning, and investor relations functions
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • Must successfully complete a background check
  • Must successfully complete a drug screen where applicable

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's Degree - Business Administration, or related field
