Job Summary
Director, International Finance & Strategy will provide financial leadership on geographic expansion and business development plans, including new market entry analysis and investment case development. You will partner with grading and marketplace business leaders to deepen understanding of financial levers and drive performance, communicate key financial and operational metrics to inform strategic decisions, own international planning, forecasting, and reporting, and build financial models to support investment decisions and long-term strategy for international markets. You will manage and develop 2–3 direct reports, drive process improvements, and serve as a trusted partner to senior leaders. The role supports rapid growth in the collectibles grading and marketplace space and offers hybrid or remote consideration with onsite expectations given office proximity; candidates will work from the Santa Ana, CA or Jersey City, NJ offices with onsite needs discussed during recruiting.
Required Qualifications
- At least 15 years of FP&A experience in a high-volume transaction or high-growth environment
- At least 5 years of FP&A leadership and business partnership experience
- Strong financial modeling and business case building skills; comfortable with complex scenario analysis and valuation frameworks
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex financial issues at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to develop effective presentations and materials for executive and board-level audiences
- Experienced people manager with a track record of developing talent and managing team priorities under pressure
- Demonstrated ability to partner and influence across an organization and with key external stakeholders
- Outstanding Excel and data management skills; strong understanding of financial systems and tools (e.g., Adaptive, NetSuite)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements in a scaled or public-company-ready environment
