Job Summary
Director, Communications leading day-to-day client workstreams and guiding the team to deliver integrated communications programs across media relations, events, influencer partnerships, brand collaborations, and data-based storytelling. This role requires developing strategies that proactively and reactively achieve business objectives, presenting strategic recommendations to stakeholders, nurturing client relationships, and mentoring junior team members. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of consumer PR experience, experience with large consumer brands, strong writing skills, and the ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously. The position is full-time and hybrid, based in New York City, with a Bachelor's Degree and legal authorization to work in the United States.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 6-8 years of experience in consumer PR and communications
- Experience working on integrated communications/marketing programs
- Experience on large brands within the consumer category (luxury, lifestyle, travel, sports and entertainment) is a plus
- Strong writing skills and ability to develop high-quality written materials
- Ability to manage multiple short- and long-term programs and deliverables
- Experience mentoring junior team members
- Bachelor's Degree
