Job Summary
Director, Insurance Product Filing & Lifecycle Management leads ACA product lifecycle, regulatory filing delivery, QA, and operational governance across multiple markets. Serves as the central hub between Product, Technology, SIO, Actuarial, Operations, and External Vendors; translating strategy into accurate, compliant outputs and overseeing teams responsible for product execution and QA. Oversees artifacts (e.g., PBT, SOB, SBC, and benefit documentation), regulatory objections, and timelines; drives process standardization and continuous improvement within a remote role requiring residence in one of the eligible states. Requires extensive experience in insurance product execution and regulatory filings, with senior leadership collaboration and vendor management, plus willingness to travel up to 25%.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in insurance product (IFP and Small Group) execution, regulatory filings, and related roles
- 5+ years experience managing people
- 5+ years hands-on experience with health insurance regulatory filing processes, specifically ACA and state specific regulatory filings / environments
- 4+ years of proven experience leading complex QA and production workflows
- 4+ years experience of understanding of controls, documentation standards and version management
- 3+ years of experience operating in close partnership with senior leaders, supporting execution through planning, prioritization, and operating rhythm
- 3+ years project management experience, managing complex partner calendars, forums, and meeting rhythms to ensure critical work progresses
- 3+ years of experience managing third-party vendors
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
