Job Summary

Strategically distill insights from diverse data sources and present actionable findings to senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Leverage syndicated data tracking resources and social listening tools to analyze evolving trends, identify whitespace opportunities, and surface local consumer behavior across EMEA markets. Lead the evolving EMEA consumer profile and audience segmentation initiatives while owning end-to-end creation of Insights presentations. Collaborate with stakeholders in brand, innovation, digital, and sales functions to drive data-driven decision-making, and develop relationships with external research partners. Drive the exploration of innovative methodologies including AI to create next-generation insights approaches. Partner with the US-based Global Insights team to unify insights that drive business growth.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in consumer research, market analysis, and data insights and analytics, inclusive of experience leading a multi-disciplinary consumer and market insights team
  • Bachelor's degree in Market Research, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Marketing, or a related quantitative field
  • Strong ability to analyze and synthesize disparate information from multiple data sources into a holistic story with strategic implications and recommendations
  • Capable of turning complex information into simple and understandable messaging
  • Adept at designing and executing multi-country end-to-end quantitative and qualitative consumer research (i.e., survey development, discussion moderation), with the ability to generate relevant and actionable insights connected to consumer needs and business strategies
  • Experience with multiple types of custom research, including positioning, segmentation, innovation concepts, advertising/concept testing, consumer journeys, path to purchase, brand health tracking, etc.
  • Outstanding ability to navigate syndicated data sets (e.g., NielsenIQ, Circana, Euromonitor, GfK, Shopper Insights) beyond pulling numbers, to analyze and distill the most relevant insights
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently and effectively across multiple projects, without sacrificing accuracy and attention to detail, in an extremely fast-paced environment
  • Inherently curious, proactive, and enjoys digging beyond the surface to uncover insights
  • Exceptional at finding trends and the story in the data, articulating the 'so what,' and translating insights into strategic, actionable recommendations
  • Passionate about customer-centricity and data-driven strategy, with the ability to effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders
  • Outstanding analytical, critical thinking, and organizational skills with extreme attention to detail
  • Ability to focus on both strategy and execution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and data story-telling skills, including the ability to clearly present findings and recommendations to diverse stakeholders
  • Has executive presence with a high degree of comfort working with and presenting to senior leaders
  • Adept at utilizing AI tools for efficiency and enhanced deliverables
  • Thrives in ambiguity, with strong prioritization and project management skills
  • Localized knowledge of EMEA regions to surface local trends and execute relevant research
  • Proficient in MS Office core suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
  • Experience using data analytics tools and languages such as SQL, SPSS, etc.

Desired Qualifications

  • A master's degree or MBA is a plus
  • Consumer goods industry experience preferred
  • Passionate about the beauty industry
