Job Summary
Oversee corporate IT operations infrastructure across 5 sites, managing networks, servers, cloud environments, and telecommunications while ensuring high availability and redundancy. Lead the IT Help Desk, prioritize employee experience, and enforce secure identity management protocols. Architect enterprise application integration for seamless data extraction and define global cybersecurity policies, risk assessments, and incident response plans. Implement AI governance frameworks to protect proprietary data and benchmark operational efficiency. Manage a distributed team, lead IT due diligence for acquisitions, and oversee the global IT budget and vendor contracts. Ensure regulatory compliance with ISO 13485, 27001, and Canadian and US data privacy laws.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- 10+ years in IT operations
- at least 3-5 years in a leadership role managing distributed teams
- Deep experience with Hybrid environments: Cloud (Azure/AWS) and On-Premise (Linux and Windows servers)
- Expertise in Microsoft Technologies (Active Directory, Azure AD, M365) and Google Suite administration
- Strong understanding of network security, application security, data security, and identity and access management principles
- In-depth knowledge of SOC 2 Type 2, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001 and ISO 13485:2016
- knowledge of ISO 42001
- Familiarity with Canadian and US cybersecurity and data privacy laws and regulations (e.g., PIPEDA, CCPA/CPRA, GDPR principles)
- fluency in both French and English
Desired Qualifications
- CISSP, CISM, CISA, or ITIL certifications
- Prior experience in a regulated healthcare or medical technology environment
