Director Information & Analatics

Lead the implementation of the Enterprise Asset Management program with a focus on data architecture, analytics, and operational integration to support MTA/LIRR goals. Develop an in-depth understanding of organizational structures and business processes to design integrated, analytics-driven solutions. Oversee agile technical teams and collaborate with IT and data engineering to build, configure, and integrate asset-management applications aligned with governance standards. Drive development of dashboards and advanced analytics using Power BI and other tools, while engaging stakeholders and evaluating emerging technologies to support future needs. Guide change management, mentor staff, and identify opportunities to enhance operations and competitiveness through new ideas, technologies, or processes. Maintain data governance practices, oversee data quality, and ensure scalable, secure analytics environments in collaboration with GIS, EAM, and enterprise data platforms. Strong proficiency in SQL and Python/R, experience with dashboard platforms, and the ability to communicate complex findings to senior leadership are required; willingness to work across departments and potentially outside of normal hours is noted. Additional responsibilities include overseeing project managers, enabling cross-departmental collaboration, and driving strategic planning and execution.
