Job Summary
Director, Industrial Storage Services oversees and grows the ISS business across multiple storage facilities (TX, LA, and future markets), driving operational, financial, and commercial performance. Responsibilities include strategic leadership for multiple facilities, annual business planning, pricing strategy optimization, revenue growth through new and expanded customer relationships, cross-functional collaboration with sales, and ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient storage operations. The role requires hands-on leadership, travel between facilities, facility utilization and inventory management, and building executive-level customer partnerships while maintaining accountability, safety, and operational excellence. Qualifications include a bachelor's degree and 7–10 years of progressive leadership in industrial operations, P&L management, safety standards (OSHA), experience with heavy industrial assets, strong financial acumen, and excellent leadership and negotiation skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics, or related field preferred
- Minimum 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in industrial operations, warehousing, logistics, equipment services, manufacturing, or related industries
- Experience leading P&L accountability, pricing strategy, and business planning preferred
- Working knowledge of crane operations, forklift operations, rigging practices, lift planning, load handling, and safe movement of large industrial assets
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and industrial safety standards related to warehousing, lifting, rigging, and material handling
- Experience working with large rotating equipment, industrial machinery, pressure vessels, turbines, compressors, pumps, motors, or similar heavy industrial assets is highly desirable
- Demonstrated success managing multi-site operations and leading diverse teams
- Proven experience driving business growth, customer development, and operational performance
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, pricing strategies, and profitability management
- Experience reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts and customer agreements
- Ability to develop and maintain executive-level customer relationships
- Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and business management systems
- Valid driver's license with the ability to travel extensively between facilities and customer locations
