Job Summary
Director Implementation Success Leader responsible for leading coding-implementation projects across healthcare clients; holds a nationally recognized coding credential (CPC or CCS); requires 5+ years of medical coding experience; designs and integrates coding solutions into EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech); manages go-live, training, and onboarding; leads change management and adoption efforts; ensures readiness and sustainable processes; collaborates with COOs, CIOs, CMOs, clinicians, and practice leaders to achieve improvements in financial performance, operational efficiency, and clinical outcomes; role emphasizes credibility as a healthcare operator and requires traveling as needed (typically 50%); performance is measured by on-time, on-budget implementations, customer satisfaction, and value delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Nationally recognized coding credential (CPC or CCS)
- 5+ years of professional medical coding experience
- Familiar with EHR workflows and coding (Epic, Cerner, Meditech)
- Experience managing go-live and training for physicians and staff
- Auditing for regulatory compliance and reimbursement accuracy
- Strong communication with physicians, clinical leaders, and project stakeholders
- Project management and organizational skills
- Ability to travel as needed, 50% at least
