Job Summary
Director, Services Business Development role in Mastercard Data & Services for Spain/EU. Lead growth strategy in Spain, identifying and developing opportunities with flagship financial institutions, merchants, fintechs, and government, by leveraging Mastercard capabilities to deliver customized payment solutions. Responsibilities include shaping growth strategy, identifying critical client problems, writing persuasive proposals and presenting to clients, developing senior-level client relationships, aligning with Mastercard core team for sales success, and coordinating with local project teams to ensure quality and follow-up sales opportunities. Requires an undergraduate degree; MBA or relevant postgraduate degree is recommended. Strong verbal/written communication, analytical skills, and proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are essential. Fluency in Spanish and English is required; additional languages desirable. The role is based in Madrid, Spain, with a focus on Europe and involves collaboration with a diverse set of customers including financial institutions, merchants, fintechs, and government bodies.
