Job Summary
Directs HR Operations for PACE Southeast Michigan, leading day-to-day Human Resources services and ensuring high-quality, compliant, and leader-enabled people operations. Partners with senior leaders to drive workforce effectiveness, employee experience, policy interpretation, and organizational development. Oversees HRBPs, Benefits, Leave Administration, Compensation, HRIS, and HR Compliance, and drives operational excellence, process improvement, analytics, and service consistency. Coaches and develops HR teams; mitigates risk through investigations and effective employee relations support; collaborates with leadership to implement people strategies, strengthen leader effectiveness, and align HR practices with organizational goals. Strong focus on data-driven decision-making, workforce analytics, and cross-functional partnership with Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, and organizational leaders. Required/preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), 8+ years HR experience, 3+ years leadership, and HR certifications (SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP/PHR/SPHR) preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR preferred
- Minimum of eight (8) years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience required
- Minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience required
- Strong operational Human Resources leadership experience required
- Experience utilizing workforce metrics, analytics, dashboards, and reporting to guide decisions and improve outcomes required
- Healthcare experience preferred
