Job Summary
Serve as the senior HR leader supporting business operations and leadership teams, partnering on talent acquisition, workforce planning, and succession strategies. Coach leaders on employee relations, performance management, and talent strategies while driving transformational change initiatives and continuous improvement. Develop leadership development and engagement programs, support annual HR processes like compensation planning and talent reviews, and lead employee and labor relations strategies including collective bargaining administration. Mentor the HR team to drive high-impact business outcomes across multiple locations in a manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must reside within commuting distance of our Chicago HQ office for a hybrid (minimum 2 days/week) environment
- Must be eligible to work in the USA without visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- 8+ years of progressive HR leadership experience
- Strong background as an HR Business Partner and people leader
- Exceptional coaching, employee relations, and organizational development skills
- Ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organization
- Experience supporting unionized workforces and administering collective bargaining agreements
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, repair, transportation, or related environments
- HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP)
