Job Summary
Director of Human Resources for Canada responsible for aligning HR strategies with regional business objectives. Key duties include partnering with regional leadership to implement HR programs, coaching management on employee relations and compliance, overseeing HR personnel across the region, supporting training and recruitment strategies, managing labor relations including CBAs and grievances, handling employment-related claims, and ensuring legal compliance with company policies. Requires strong leadership, negotiation, talent management, and cross-functional collaboration; experience with HRIS, compensation/benefits, and performance management; ability to lead remote teams and travel up to 30%. French language skills and knowledge of Canadian employment regulations are highly valued.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree required; Masters in related field or MBA preferred
- Ten to fifteen years experience in HR with Labour Relations and Employee Relations; leadership experience
- Multi-lingual skills (French)
- Ability to work on-site at Mississauga, ON
- Knowledge of Canadian employment regulations
- Ability to travel up to 30%
