Job Summary
Develop and implement the organization's HR strategy aligned with business and organizational goals, advising senior leadership on workforce planning and organizational development. Oversee end-to-end recruitment, performance management frameworks, and compensation and benefits administration while ensuring compliance with Indian labour laws and statutory requirements. Lead the HR team in driving talent acquisition, learning and development initiatives, and change management across 416 districts in 29 States and Union Territories. Report to the Trustee to foster a high-performing, inclusive workplace that supports the mission of preventing child exploitation and trafficking.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Human Resource Management, MBA (HR), Organisation Development (OD), Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources
- At least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role
- Sound knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance
- Proficiency in HR Information Systems (HRIS) and HR analytics
- Strong policy drafting and HR documentation skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in change management and organisational restructuring
- Demonstration of professionalism, integrity, accountability, and alignment with the organisation's mission and values
Desired Qualifications
- Professional certifications in HR, Labour Laws, Organisation Development (OD), or Talent Management
- Certification in HR Analytics, Coaching, or Leadership Development
- Experience in NGOs, development organisations, or mission-driven organisations
