Job Summary

Director HR Business Partner for Workplace Benefits & Retirement provides consultative and strategic HR support to senior client groups (VP to SVP level) and partners with executives to shape talent management, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness. Responsibilities include coaching senior leaders on HR policy and practices, leading HR processes (talent management, performance, compensation, engagement), escalating complex employee issues with ER&S, leading and participating in HR projects, and developing talent plans for the supported business units. The role requires extensive HRBP experience, strong business acumen, change management capabilities, and the ability to influence senior leaders. The base salary ranges from $128,000 to $178,000 annually, with opportunities for education reimbursement and comprehensive benefits; hybrid work arrangement in Toronto, Canada.

Required Qualifications

  • Extensive experience as an HR business partner
  • Post Secondary degree / CHRP is an asset
  • Trusted and credible advisor to Executives and Senior HR colleagues
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Proactive in identifying people-related issues and opportunities
  • Ability to implement HR strategies and programs
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong project and change management experience
