Job Summary
Directs the operations of the Acute Care Hospital Pharmacy, ensuring compliance with patient care quality standards and overseeing purchase and inventory maintenance of all pharmaceuticals and related supplies. Responsibilities include directing departmental planning, revenue analysis, budgeting, education, and human resource management; developing and implementing policies and procedures; coordinating operational efforts with hospital management; and fostering staff involvement aligned with corporate vision and values. Requires a BS in pharmacy, active pharmacist license in Oklahoma with MTS certification, and a minimum of three years of pharmacy leadership experience (three years in leadership preferred).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
- Current pharmacist license from the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy
- Medication Therapy Services (MTS) certification on the license
- Minimum three years of practice experience in pharmacy
- Minimum of three years in Pharmacy leadership
- Demonstrated leadership ability and interpersonal skills
- Supervisory experience (preferred)
