Job Summary
Director, Horizon Administration responsible for overseeing administrative operations of ACS DYFJ facilities (Crossroads and Horizon) including staffing analyses, procurement, training and performance management, housekeeping operations, facility maintenance, and inter-divisional coordination. The role requires master’s-level expertise in social work or related fields, with substantial administrative leadership experience in a child-care or youth-services environment, and the ability to coordinate with human resources, legal, and oversight bodies. Key duties include monitoring staffing allocations, managing contracts and uniforms, coordinating staff development and mandated trainings, overseeing housekeeping/maintenance, ensuring compliance and security, liaising with multiple internal and external stakeholders, and supporting development of facility goals and metrics.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in social work from an accredited school of social work with four years of full-time paid professional experience in a child care institution or group work with children in a child care setting, including two years in an administrative capacity; or
- Master's degree from an accredited college in sociology, psychology, education, public administration or a closely related field, and five years of full-time paid professional experience as described above including two years in an administrative capacity; or
- Education and/or experience equivalent to the above, with two years of administrative experience in a child care setting.
