Job Summary
Set priorities in collaboration with Business Unit and Regional Leadership to develop and implement strategic direction for one- and five-year business plans. Drive business development by winning and delivering projects, while managing relationships with key partners and identifying potential mergers and acquisitions. Build a vibrant team of leaders aligned with regional plans, lead staff development and recruitment, and advocate for stretch roles for future leaders. Account for own area staff's participation in safety initiatives and ensure accuracy in project performance and forecasting. Oversee engagements for commercial, financial, and technical performance, serving as Project Sponsor for key engagements. Set direction for contract negotiations, manage pricing strategies, and participate in Global Pursuit Reviews to drive growth on current and future work.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
- A minimum 15 years' related experience delivering transportation projects
- A minimum 10 years' project management experience delivering major transportation infrastructure projects
- Strong current relationships with US State and Federal transport agencies
- Ability to prepare contracts, scopes of services, fee estimates in accordance with US State DoT standard practices and requirements
- Technical experience with the ability to mentor and oversee development of our staff
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture
- Excellent communication, leadership, planning and mentoring skills
