Job Summary
Director of the Healthy Community Network oversees day-to-day administration, operations, volunteer coordination, and community outreach; responsibilities include coordinating food distribution programs, maintaining records and databases, recruiting and managing volunteers, coordinating board/committee activities, managing vendor relationships, promoting programs, and engaging with community stakeholders. Requires attendance at regular open hours and volunteer events; part-time schedule with 20 hours or less per week and compensation commensurate with experience.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for serving the community
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Experience coordinating volunteers or community programs preferred
- Proficiency with database management and Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with Boomerang or similar nonprofit donor management systems preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
- Reliable transportation for local errands, purchasing, and event attendance
