Job Summary
Director, Healthcare Partnerships & Growth to shape commercial strategy and growth of healthcare innovation initiatives. Build strategic relationships with hospitals, health authorities, universities, nursing programs, medical schools, and simulation centers across Canada and internationally. Define and execute go-to-market strategies for healthcare-focused solutions, identify high-potential market segments, develop growth plans balancing near-term opportunities with long-term strategic initiatives, contribute to business case development and commercialization strategies, represent the initiative at conferences and innovation forums, engage healthcare leaders to understand emerging challenges, support thought leadership on healthcare innovation, AI, XR/VR/AR, and workforce development, lead discovery conversations, facilitate workshops, shape pilot opportunities, and develop proposals, partnership agreements, and funding opportunities. The role emphasizes collaboration with executive leadership, product and technology teams, and international collaborators to scale successful solutions and position the organization as a trusted partner in healthcare education and workforce development.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, innovation, healthcare strategy, or growth leadership
- Experience working with healthcare organizations, hospitals, health authorities, academic institutions, or healthcare technology companies
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
