Job Summary
Lead inter-disciplinary health services teams to deliver patient-centered care across Manitoba; responsible for safe, effective and efficient service delivery, monitoring and evaluating key performance indicators, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to support access to culturally respectful health services. Guides operational leadership within a fiscal framework, aligns with the LEADS in a Caring Environment framework, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards and patient/client safety. Requires 5-7 years of progressive health services management, a health-discipline degree, regulatory-licensure where appropriate, willingness to travel, and a valid Manitoba driver’s license. Hybrid work arrangement; contributes to strategic planning and integration of care models across diverse settings.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree in a relevant health discipline (degree required)
- Active member of an associated regulatory body as appropriate
- 5-7 years of progressive management experience leading a broad spectrum of health services
- 5 years of direct clinical services delivery across one or more assigned geographic or clinical areas of health care
- 3 years of management experience leading an interdisciplinary health service
- 3 years of experience participating in operational planning and achieving quality and safety objectives
- 3 years of experience building and leading a high-performing, interdisciplinary team
- Postgraduate degree is an asset
- Valid Class 5 Manitoba driver’s license and access to a personal motor vehicle
- Willingness to travel to other health care facilities within the SDO
- Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment
- Ability to work in a computerized office environment and manage priorities
