Job Summary
Director, Health Economics & Market Access (HEMA) – Policy, Advocacy & Strategy leads end-to-end reimbursement strategy for pipeline and pre-launch products across coding, coverage, and payment. Shapes and executes an integrated reimbursement policy and advocacy strategy, monitors CMS rulemaking and broader policy developments, and represents the company in policy forums to secure favorable coverage and payment environments. Partners with Government Affairs, Clinical, Medical Affairs, and HEOR to embed payer-relevant evidence requirements into evidence generation strategies and to align value narratives with payer decision drivers. Develops multi-year reimbursement roadmaps, identifies risks and opportunities, informs go/no-go decisions, and guides portfolio strategy and launch readiness. Travels up to 30%, operates in a highly matrixed organization, and provides executive-level guidance on reimbursement trends and strategic implications. Requires a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred) and 10+ years in medical device reimbursement, market access, or health policy; experience influencing Medicare policy and industry advocacy; strong executive presence and cross-functional leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MPH, MBA, MHA, MS) preferred
- 10+ years of experience in medical device reimbursement, market access, or health policy
- Demonstrated experience influencing Medicare policy, reimbursement frameworks, and/or industry advocacy efforts
