Job Summary
Directs and oversees Health Care Compliance for Global Functions at Johnson & Johnson, providing strategic guidance, risk-informed decision support, and governance across the Global Functions portfolio. Partners with business leaders to embed compliant pathways in strategy, planning, and pre-commercial activities, conducts risk assessments, advises on interactions with healthcare professionals and organizations, and leads investigations, corrective actions, and ongoing monitoring to enable compliant growth and launch readiness. Plays a critical role in shaping the compliance program, supporting Global Business Development activities, and promoting a culture of integrity and accountability while leading talent development and cross-functional collaboration in a matrix environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- 10+ years of business-related experience
- 5+ years of compliance experience (Regulatory, Quality, Compliance, Legal)
- 2+ years of proven experience in people management
- Knowledge of relevant laws, policies, standards, financial or auditing practices and company business and policies
- Knowledge about industry associations, their modus operandi and related policies is a plus
- Experience in the development and/or implementation of a compliance program and risk management solutions
- Ability to advise senior leaders and stakeholders on business initiatives or complex issues
- Strong collaboration with demonstrated evidence of maintaining relationships and partnerships with peers and business partners and ability to influence across all levels of the business
- Experience working in a matrix environment to deliver solutions which drive compliant growth
- Master’s degree in related field or other advanced degree preferred
- Experience working with industry partners and/or governmental regulatory bodies preferred
- Experience working as an HCC or GCC Officer preferred
- Current Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP®) and/or Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC®) status preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to analyze data and trends, and communicate complex information to all levels of the company
- Strong analytical, risk-based decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Engaging and personable demeanor; self-directed, detail-oriented and motivated; demonstrate a high level of accountability, leadership, and decisiveness
